The following is an explanation of the ranking system that is currently being used by TAF-B1

Your Alliance Rank is proportional to your Game Rank. Lack of communication, unsportsmanlike behavior, and being off-line for repeated extended periods can affect your Alliance Rank

Basic Positions:
Newcomer --------------------------- No privileges, private messages only
(Newbie)
OF-01 Pilot -------------------------- Limited privileges: show membership, see online status, write circular messages
beginner to 2500)
OF-02 Flight Officer --------------- Limited privileges: same as above
((2499 to 2000)
OF-03 Flight Lt. -------------------- Limited privileges: same as above
(1999 to 1700)
OF-04 Squadron LCR ------------- Moderate privileges: same as above plus see applications
(1699 to 1500)
OF-05 Group Captain -------------- Moderate privileges: same as above
(1499 to 1100)
OF-06 Commodore ----------------- Moderate privileges: same as above
(1099 to 800)
OF-07 Vice Marshal ---------------- Intermediate privileges: same as above plus process applications
(799 to 500)
OF-08 Space Marshal -------------- Intermediate privileges: same as above
(499 to 001)

OF-10 Vice-Commandant --------- Command privileges: same as above plus kick user, manage alliance, right hand man

Let it be known that all members with Ranks in the Command Positions are considered to be the Advisory Board for the Commandant.
